Traveling

Last 9 months were different for me. Gatwick, Istanbul, Diyarbakir, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Warszawa, Paris, Oslo, Kristinsund, Miami, New Orleans, Tulsa, Dallas, Pennsylvania, Atlanta, New York. All these towns have something in common – they all have an airport. I was there, moving from one continent to another. In each airport I spent in average almost 3.5 hours. Total so far – approximate 3 days in different airports.

I was protected by rain, or snow, from heat or could weather by glass and steel. The lack of time kept me prisoner between shops, restaurants and coffee machines. It was a great joy for me when I had actually the chance to really visit these places (only 50%), to walk on the streets and see the local people and their way of living.

Maybe this is the reason why my enthusiasm when I am in a new place is: ‘another fucking airport’.
